Zoo Fun

David and I took Gabriel to the Zoo for the first time last weekend. He had so much fun! Our first stop was the bears. He never wanted to leave any one exhibit. We had to tell him we were going to find more animals, and then he decided it was ok and he peeled his hands away from railings and slowly follow us to the next one...and then the same excitement started all over again.

He was most impressed with the polar bear. It was all over the place playing with a plastic barrel. He hasn't been too photogenic for the past...year almost. So this is the best expression I got.

Another thing, he only wanted his "Addy". I tried and tried and have a picture taken with me, and he would not have it! He's been on this "dad only" kick. While I love the break, I also want to get in on the fun! Kind of a bitter-sweet thing.

The simple things in life. :) He had some of the best times just jumping over the little rock wall. Too funny!
By the end of .... I should say, before the end of the day, he was SPENT! He didn't even make it to the exit before passing out. Next time, we'll go earlier in the day so he can have his nap. (he missed it that day.) All in all, it was VERY fun!

I can't wait to take Noah to the zoo for the first time. I wanted to do it recently but I still don't think he'd truly understand ... and most of the animals at the zoo here look dead. LOL. I miss you.

We've had a zoo pass for the last two years...definitely worth it. My kids LOVE the zoo.

The new bear exhibit is pretty cool, eh?

What fun times. Who doesn't like the zoo? I personally would like to have a goat... don't know why, just want one. Love the animals!!!

Hi Carrie! I just saw your link on your sisters blog and came to check you out. Cute template! How are things going with your move. Let me know if I can help out. We would love to have Gabriel come over to play while you pack, or if you just need a nap. Chad can come over and help lift so of the heavy stuff if David needs a hand. Hope that the morning sickness is starting to subside. CALL me Please!
