So here's what I was thinking. I leave about 11am and they guys get to work. Three o'clock rolls around and I'm getting excited. "I bet they have the front room almost done! Maybe even started on the next room...I haven't heard from David all day so that's gotta mean he's plowing through it." Another hour and a half goes by and I get a picture text message from David. "Oh this is going to be great. I'm nervous cause what if it's only a couple of rows that got done?? Oh well, here it goes." I look at the picture, and immediately think to myself, "I knew it!" Here's what I saw.
Ok, I have to admit, I was a little crushed that my whole house wasn't done. :) But then again, I really had no idea what to even expect. I've never had this done or known anyone that did it themselves, so I didn't know how long it would take or how hard of work it is to do it. I then was talking with my sister and she put it into perspective for me. She told me that someone she knew that did it, took him 10 days. Another case, took the guys two days (but they were professionals and there were 3 of them). David nor Scott have ever done this before so it was a learning as you go job. And they made really good progress. I'm just happy that it's gotten started in the first place. I think it looks great so far! David, thanks for all your hard work!
