For Memorial Day we decided to head out to the beach. We haven't been since last year and I was dying to go! We met up with my sisters family and the Gold's out at Hug Point. I have heard from a few people that it is a great place to go and have always wanted to check it out. They were right! We got there just as the tide was coming in so we didn't get to play much in the little water fall there and by the time we got all of our stuff unpacked, the tide was in even further. Man, it comes in quick! As it comes in there are some tide pools that we went to go check out, but we had kids with us and it was hard for them to get around because the water was getting deeper. Truth be told, I was getting a little freaked out myself. The ocean scares me. :) Anyway, so we made our little spot and had lunch at played in the sand. It was Angelina's first time at the beach and I think she had a good time. She even got her very first taste of the best stuff on earth. DR. PEPPER!
Just kidding. It was just for picture taking.
We all had a great time! It was a beautiful day and was just what we needed.
Thanks again Oberg's and Gold's for letting us crash your party. We had fun doing it!

Glad you had fun! I'm totally irritated though that that was my anniversary and all we did was sit at home because there was nothing to do. Then I find out you guys went to the beach, April and Mom went to Hagg.... We would've gone!
Looks like lots of fun, love the picture. I miss the beach, I don't know if we are going to go to the beach when we are out there.
The ocean also scares me, but it is beautiful.

I didn't see any hugging going on what's up with that? I was hoping to see at least one hot steamy embrace. ;) Looking forward to spending some time with you guys when we're up there. YOu guys up for a PJ party one of the nights?
