This year, it was just me and the kids. David got to go on a little road trip to Montana. We had a great time. We woke up bright and early to hit the parade in Hillsboro and then came back and made some burgers with my mom and little brother. We were going to grill, but found out at the last minute that we didn't have any propane! Talk about a disappointment. :( So we just made them on the stove and they still turned out great.
(Gabriel is pretty much obsessed with Spider Man so I figured he could be all decked out in his Spider Man stuff since it was all red, white, and blue.)
After lunch we all took a much needed nap and then headed over to a friends house and let our boys play in the water and had a real BBQ. :) Again, burgers turned out great. I think I gained about 10 lbs...
We lit off some fireworks and Gabriel's reaction was funny. Angelina was just in a daze. It was cute.
It was all very fun and very exhausting...David says he's got awesome fireworks to light off when he comes home...more to come about that later!

Looks like it was a fun time. It was a lazy day for us. Just the 3 of us and some barbeque to keep us occupied....can't have the 4th without the barbeque. I always have a fear of running out of propane when we have a bunch of people over for dinner. Glad the burgers turned out!!
