We just got back from our annual camping trip with the Harbour side of the family. This year we went to the coast rather than Detroit Lake. Friday was absolutely perfect weather. Saturday and Sunday were very overcast, low fog, and more on the chilly side. Regardless, everyone had fun. This is Angelina's first camping trip and she did great!
My mom and I went down earlier than everyone else. We got to go down early Thursday morning and David came down later that night after work with brother Dave. Then the rest of the family came on Friday. It was nice to take our time along the way. We stopped at the outlet malls and did a little shopping, had lunch at Kyllo's (yum!!) in Lincoln City, and did a little sight seeing. We were lucky enough to be able to see some whales in the bay. They were pretty active...feeding.

And my poor dog...She sheds ridiculously too much! It disgusts me...more than it should...and my wonderful husband was so tired of hearing me complain about all the dog hair in our tent the first night, that he took her into town the next day and had her shaved. I love her short hair!...But, she does look a little funny. I do miss her mane, and they left all the hair on her tail, which is fine, but just look at the picture of her butt...
No blending or anything...Anyway, short haired dogs are more my thing. What a good sport Kira is. I do like my dog! :)
