Week 5

Looking back on what I did and didn't do in week 5, and seeing the numbers on the scale kind of confuses me. I don't think I worked out one day last week. The one thing I've been fairly consistent with is my diet. Keeping the sugar intake to a minimum, having most of my carbs in the morning and early noon, and trying to drink lots and lots of water. I did a cleanse on Thursday and maybe that helped. I don't know. I am going to push myself really hard this week.

I've gotten quite a bit of feedback from people who have struggled themselves with weight. Thank you so much to all of you. Hearing your stories, what helped and didn't help, passing along work out plans/diet plans, giving me links to awesome web sites, and even seeing progress pictures have been a HUGE help for me. I have to admit (and in my heart I know this isn't the case) that I have been feeling kind of alone in this battle. Feeling like everyone else is right where they need to be without having to really WORK at it and looks great. Like I said, I know this really isn't true. But isn't that how anyone feels when they're trying to conquer something? So having all of this information passed on to me just makes it more real to me that I am not the only out there and has given me an awesome motivational boost. Again, to all of you who have helped me, and I hope you know who you are, THANK YOU! I can't say it enough. :) I have so much love and support from so many of you. I love you all!

Week 5: -4 lbs woohoo!!

Current weight: 202

One more week to go and I'll be taking on a new 6 week challenge. More to come on that next week!

Great stuff, Carrie! Consistency is a hard thing, but looks like you are pushing through. Glad to see some results for you. Keep it up.

GOOD FOR YOU!! keep up the good work. I am trying REALLY hard to stay away from christmas Treats this year...SO HARD but so far so good. Love ya
