Halloween

My family has been so sick for such a long time, Halloween looked like it was going to be skipped this year. We barely made it out trick-or-treating, but braved it and had a blast. Damama held a small family Halloween party at her house with good food, fun, and games. We kept the night short, but had a good time while we were there.

Our good friends Meagan, Jacan, and Paige came over to go door to door to get all the goods on Halloween night.  David stayed behind with Cal to watch the Oregon game. . .and they won! They also passed out the candy. I was a little disappointed in our neighborhood this year. Last year, there were so many houses that passed out candy, it was the perfect neighborhood to go trick-or-treating in. This year, it seemed like you'd hit up one or two houses and then have to walk forever to find the next one or two that had their lights on. Hmmm. Oh well. G$ got a nice little stash and that's all he needs. I sure as heck don't need the temptation! He was a great SPIDER-MAN and Angelina was a super cute LAMB. All in all it was a good night and a good HALLOWEEN.

One tradition that we have is this ~

This is Angelina's first HALLOWEEN so we had to get a pumpkin big enough to put her in. She's a chunk, but David managed to pick the perfect pumpkin! (a little green, but the perfect size)

HALLOWEEN ended up happening after all and it was fun.
