Ever wonder what your toes would look like without their nails? Well, wonder no more. . .
Aside from needing a serious pedicure, take a look at that!! A few weeks ago my toe was hurting and I noticed a blood blister had formed under my nail. A couple of nights ago it was hurting pretty bad so I ended up popping it to relieve the pressure. It felt so much better. I could tell that if I tried hard enough, I could take the nail off. But, in hopes to save my nail, I let it be thinking that it would heal itself back together. Last night after my run I was checking it out and sure enough, it did not. So to save myself the pain that it would make if it snagged on anything, I took it off. My sister told me that she hears of runners losing their nails all the time. REALLY??? I sure hope this doesn't become a regular thing. It's more of an inconvenience than anything.

lol, i have 2 toenails on my right foot black and ready to fall off. ahh, the joys of running. :)
I lost 3 toenails last summer when I was training. Are your running shoes at least a 1/2 to whole size bigger than your regular shoe size? That could be a reason why. Mine were too short. I got some new shoes so I'm anxious to see how my toes will do this time around! Go you!!!
so not fun! you other friend is right, you need at least 1/2 to whole size bigger in your running shoes. at first it might feel werid, but in the end you will be so happy you made the change. and your shoes are definitely too small if you are getting blisters. get bigger shoes fo sho! :) and seriously all your problems will be solved. :) loves!!
Yuck....I am gonna vomit!! Haha that just looks super painful and makes my butt pucker just thinking about it...LOL!
I can't believe you took it off yourself! YUCK!
But I'll be it sure feels better!
