Cars

I have watched this movie every day for the past week or so! I'm even kind of ashamed to say that some days, it has been watched twice. :) I guess I have my sister to thank...or actually, probably my nephew. Thanks Simeon! Ever since we had a sleepover, Gabriel has asked to watch 'Cars'. I mean every day. So about a week ago, I broke down and bought the movie. It's probably the best thing I've bought. Maybe the worst, too. I do have to say that I like it a little more each time I watch it. Some of you may know that Gabriel NEVER liked to watch T.V. Everyone told me to be glad. That it was a good thing. I agree. But you have to admit, there are times when you just need your kid(s) to be out from under neath you and what better than to put them in front of the 'ol boob tube. Well, now when he watches 'Cars', he ZONES! It is the funniest thing. If you need him for something, you literally need to get right in his face. Even then it takes a second for him to snap back into reality. I was going to wait for Christmas to give it to him, but I got suckered into giving it to him early by his charming good looks and his sweet talk. :)

We have spent $60 on CARS dvds...the first was bitten and couldn't be buffed out. The second got goop on it that couldn't be washed off. The third has stuck around a little while longer. L.O.V.E. that movie...plus it's almost 2 hours long! That's plenty o' time to do chores, nap, etc. :) Welcome to the obsession!

Baby Einstein has the same effect on Leo. We own a copy of the Cars DVD as Leo seems to enjoy that as well but not as much B.E. Monsters Inc. is a good one if you're looking for some variety. ;)
