A Feeling Of Ahhhhh

Every year our church changes times. Last year it went from 8:30-11:30. I think we were late every single week and for the last few months of the year, somebody was ALWAYS sick. And, yes, I'm going to admit that when someone was sick, we just kept the kids home. I would go and teach my class and then quickly come home for David to go teach his. We'd just tag team it. It was the "easy" thing to do. This year, it has changed to 11-2. At first, I thought, GREAT! We don't have to rush in the morning and it only pushes naps back one hour. We can handle that. Wrong. I think our kids have been out of the church routine for so long that they've forgotten. Sooo, last week during sacrament meeting, David and I wanted to leave even before we got there. Both kids were AWFUL! Beyond awful. I thought for sure we were going to be asked to leave. (ok, not really, but it was that bad) This week was a little different. I think everyone's kids were catching up. It's right in the middle of lunch time, nap times, etc. I found my kids being slightly better, but more so like last week.  I found myself smiling because everyone else's kids were acting the same way. It made me feel so much better. Maybe we can get through this after all.

Okay...first of the D & C is so clever! You two are so spiritual over there...you're even writing your own scripture!! I love the new schedule. Although, we are finding it harder to get there on time because we kind of lounge around for a while and then hit full panic mode when we realize it's only 30 minutes before church and we're all still stinky!! ;)

Oh, yeah...I was hearing you guys at church and it didn't sound like your kids...it kind of sounded like David - ha! Nah, I didn't hear you guys at all. I think you're too hard on yourself. Your kids are absolutely fantastic!

I am sure that as you act in faith and do what is right nap time will not get in the way of your Sunday worship. Children are masters at change.

I feel for you! I totally understand. We moved to the 1 slot and you know even though my kids don't nap they were awful and I just wanted to go home. But they were better this week and everyone elses kids were awful!

lol, with Daniel working on Sunday's I hate going to church. 4 kids just shoot me now. Rubio and Isabel will start fighting so I will tell them that if they keep it up I will find another family for them to sit with. Rubio test me on that and I did find another family that was glad to have Rubio sit with them.

I also have Sammy wanting me to hold her but I need to hold Fabio and every time Sammy needs to go potty.

After that long hour I am in nursery. Daniel will say Church was not made for families with little kids. Also most of the time one of my kids will get sick from someone at church.
