Tomorrow is only Halloween...But I figure we'll have them carved for tomorrow, and then we'll just turn them around so that they look like full pumpkins and make some kind of "Harvest" decoration out of them until they start rotting. Carving was a LOT of fun. Gabriel got so into it, as you can see in the pictures.
He was a great helper, although, when all the 'guts' were out of the pumpkin, he started taking them out of the bowl and putting them back into the pumpkin. :) We gave him a quick bath when we were done, and then lit up the Jack-O-Lanterns outside and he thought that was GREAT! He hated to come back inside.
He'll be a pirate for Halloween and we've been practicing on saying "Trick-or-Treat", and we've also been practicing "ARRRRGH!". He does pretty good! We're excited!

He's so cute carving his pumpkin! We didn't get around to carving one this year...it's just been soo busy!
Nice pumpkins.
We're carving tonight. Yes, on Halloween. How fun! I love Halloween!
I just love how focused kids can get when they're truly into something. It's all about finding something to keep their little hands busy and out of trouble :) He's looking like such the little boy in these pics.
