Happy Birthday!

out of this world birthday party 007

This last weekend, we celebrated my sisters birthdays. April's is next month (right), Allison's was in September (left), and Lindsey's is this month (middle). What we usually do, is about once a month the family gets together and celebrates all of the birthdays for that month.  Siblings, nieces, nephews, etc. If there is only one birthday, then we'll just combine that one person with the other birthday people for the previous or following month. That way we're not having to find time to get together 3-4 times a month. 6 siblings + 10 kids = a lot of birthdays! That's too much. And almost impossible to coordinate schedules. Some of my siblings think getting together just once a month is too much of a hassle. :) I just smile and say WHATEVER. I can never get too much them. Anyway, this last time we got together at a place called "Out of This World". A pizza place that is kind of like Pizza Planet on Toy Story, but not quite as cool. The kids had a blast! I only really took pictures of Gabriel. (I should take more of them all!)

Gabriel and his two oldest cousins Cole and Jake. I'm so glad that they love him so much. They climbed in the play structure and chased him around until it was time to go. There was no way I was going to be able to do that. :) (we did bribe a little bit)

Then, as soon as he found Simeon, he was all about whatever he was doing. Trouble makers...

They had a lot of fun things at this place and the pizza wasn't bad. David didn't like it at all. But then again, it was LOADED with cheese, and he doesn't do well with cheese...if you know what I mean.

Just a little story...As you enter with your party, you get your hand stamped with a number. That way when you leave, you're not taking off with someone else's kid. When it came time for us to leave, we ran into that problem. Gabriel's number was different than mine. He had gone earlier with my brother so his number was the same as my brothers. Not ours. No big deal, right? We were all together. Well, my brother had left with his family way before we did. He was probably a good 30-45 minutes away, or even home, by the time we left. David was already out in the car, ready to go, and I was stuck inside. So I gave Gabriel to my mom (who was right there, but one person wasn't enough to vouge (sp?) for my relation to this kid) and ran outside to tell him what was going on. He came back inside and at that time the whole rest of my family was at the front telling this girl that we were all family and that this little boy was in fact mine. I don't blame the poor girl, she was just doing the right thing...her job. But still. I have to admit it was a little frustrating that she still didn't believe 6 people telling her the same story, pictures on the cell phone, etc. And it REALLY didn't help that Gabriel, at that time, chose to keep his mouth shut when asked who I or David was. And when we would point and ask who someone was, he would say "NO!" and turn his head the other direction. (WHAT A LITTLE SNOT!) She finally gave in let us go. She didn't want to cause a big scene (which was already happening) and said, ok fine. So we finally ended up getting 'Out of THAT World' together.

Back to the main point. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTERS! I LOVE YOU GUYS!
