Angelina's ONE!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELINA!

I have decided that I have THE cutest little girl on the face of this Earth. This past year has been so fun! She is full of smiles, full of hugs and kisses, and just full of cuteness! She absolutely adores her big brother and wants to play with everything he plays with. He is so good to her - for the most part. :) This girl was quite the party animal. She got to have 3 birthday parties! One with lots of great friends, one with the Dias side of the family, and the third one was with the Harbour side of the family. She loved all of the attention.

Angelina is FABULOUS when it comes to going to bed. She never puts up a fight. We'll lay her down, tell her it's time for nuh-night, and close the door. She's good to go! She also sleeps right through Gabriel's tantrums when we go to put him down. (He puts up a fight every day) She decided to take her very first steps the day after her birthday. She's not full on walking yet but gets braver and braver with each passing day. She's so funny - she does the "bear crawl" all the time now. (when you walk on your hands and feet with your bum up in the air) She's got 4 teeth: 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom, loves to mimic facial expressions, follow mommy around everywhere, and help with the dishes and laundry. (And by "help" I mean play in the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and unfold all the laundry.) She has been an absolute blessing to our family.

Partying with the Dias/Tunes family is always a lot of fun. Regina's making yummy treats while the kids get entertained; Gabriel and Marcos made a fort, Angelina's getting sung to by her Great Grandma and then played peek-a-boo with Aunt Margareth. David and his dad are talking about conference. . .what else!? :)

We usually get together every month (or every other) and have one big celebration for all those who have birthdays in that month. It's really fun and makes it easier with everyone's busy schedules.

I'd say this girl had a great first birthday. Totally made out like a bandit! :) We can't wait to see what she'll bring us this next year as she transitions into the "Terrible Two's"
