For those of you who read
this post, I was so not "in the know" on how to keep my child entertained while doing my 'chores' and feeling like I wasn't neglecting him. Well, I've finally figured it out. SLEEPOVERS! Tonight we're having fun with cousin Sim. It's so funny to watch these two. Gabriel will follow and copy - in action and in conversation - Simeon with whatever he does. It's too cute. It's so easy with them too. All I have to do is keep Sim busy (which isn't hard to do, just toys or a movie) and since Gabriel does whatever Simeon does, he's totally taken care of without any effort. :) I got dishes done, laundry started, dinner made, garbage gathered and taken out, and my sheets changed. Sure, it all sounds like easy things, and they are. But they were all that much more easier tonight. I didn't have two little extra hands undoing
everything I was trying to do.
They read to each other...
They watched Cars...
And they got into David's camping gear. 
Simeon will be leaving bright and early in the morning. It's been good fun, as it always is with the cousins. (We'll have to do this more often, my house will be spotless! Unless they get into the camping gear again...)

I remember when I was young and I had small cousins that played with me. We had fun. We got into trouble. They look like wonderful friends.
Leo has a lot of fun playing with his friend Christian when he's at daycare. When I found out how much Leo learns just by being with another kid I didn't feel so bad that he was at day care 3 times a week. It's though being the oldest. ;)
Alone time is really good for development too. Leo will play in his room by himself for a good 20 minutes or so before he comes looking for me where I'm just around the corner within ear shot.
Hopefully Gabe will keep Leo entertained when we're up there. :)
They are so cute.
It is wonderful when they get older. Rubio is 6 and Isabel is 4 and they have chores. They have to clean their bedrooms and they also have to clean the living room. And help put away their clean laundry. But it is still hard to keep a clean house with three little ones.

I'm so glad my kids love the cuz'nz so much! You have a great family...we'll play anytime!
