It was so funny, when you make pasta, all it takes is flour, eggs, and a little bit of water. You're supposed to take the flour, put it on the counter and make it so the flour has a hole in the middle kind of like a bowl, pour the eggs in and start stirring with your finger until all the flour is mixed with the eggs. Well, when David poured his eggs in the flour, the hole wasn't big enough an the eggs spilled over the sides of the flour and onto the counter. He got it mixed together and ended up making some pretty good dough.
The pasta after it was made into pasta. He is one happy boy.
This is the finished product. It was really good! I was very impressed. I could really taste difference in the taste and texture. It's fresh.
David's set on getting a pasta maker now. It was a great FHE (even though it wasn't intended to be one) and everyone got to reap the rewards of the boys' hard work. I love it when David cooks dinner.

I love pasta. I spent two years in Argentina and spoke Spanish while there. When I returned home I had a little difficulty remembering how to say everything I wanted in English. My older brothers, Donnie and Kent, also knew Spanish and English. I had to ask, "How do you say 'pasta' in English?"
You BLOG background looks like maybe somebody was testing the pasta to see if it was done.
SO FUN!!! Great pictures. I have made pasta before and it is super fun.
Mmmmmm mmmmmmm.
